“Rise Up” by Imagine Dragons Review

Lillian Blackham, Comic Artist

“Rise Up” by Imagine Dragons is the fifth track in one of their arguably best albums Evolve, which includes “Whatever It Takes”, “Believer” and “Thunder”. “Rise Up” was written by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, and John Hill and has a run time of 3 minutes and 15 seconds.

I’ve given this song a rating of 5 out of 5 as I absolutely adore this song and for good reason. This song has an upbeat tempo and minimal to no auto-tune. Reynolds’ voice perfectly fits the melodies and lyrics of the song. The instrumentation fits the themes and emphasizes certain lines in the song. Many lines in this song hit me hard, especially the bridge and chorus.

Overall, I feel like it is a very uplifting song and I personally think it’s very underrated and deserves more love than it’s gotten.
