June 9th, Legacy’s football teams battled with Fossil Ridge and Brighton at Fossil Ridge High School for the season’s first scrimmage. While there was no score, it was an excellent opportunity for the school to get a glimpse of how the freshman, junior varsity, and varsity teams will do starting in August. It was a hot, energy-filled day, but Legacy still showed both their strengths and weaknesses in defense and offense. Students and parents hope that the players’ exciting energy and progressing skills will show through next season.
